The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul finished the week with a loss of 1.63%. However, gold and the dollar gained value, benefiting their investors. The stock that gained the most was CVK Mining Enterprises.

This week, gold and the dollar were profitable among investment instruments. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul finished the week with a loss of 1.63%, closing at 9,910.61 points. During the week, the index saw a low of 9,865.74 and a high of 10,159.14 points.

In the same period, the financial index of Borsa Istanbul decreased by 1.22% to 11,891.62 points, the services index fell by 1.28% to 9,707.89 points, the industrial index decreased by 1.82% to 13,006.09 points, and the technology index increased by 2.83% to 14,496.66 points.

CVK MINING ENTERPRISES WITH THE HIGHEST GAIN

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, CVK Mining Enterprises had the highest increase this week at 13.99%. It was followed by Margun Energy with an increase of 11.75% and Şekerbank with an increase of 10.55%.

Among these stocks, the ones that lost the most value were Mavi Clothing with a decrease of 7.02%, Anadolu Group Holding with a decrease of 6.85%, and Batısöke Cement Industry with a decrease of 6.56%. The most valuable companies traded on Borsa Istanbul were Garanti BBVA with 538 billion 20 million lira, Koç Holding with 462 billion 801 million lira, and Turkish Airlines with 405 billion 30 million lira.

GOLD AND DOLLAR INCREASED

The price of 24-carat gold bullion increased by 1.59% last week, reaching 3,060 lira, while the price of the republic gold rose by 1.58% to 20,752 lira. The selling price of the dollar increased by 0.12% to 35.4110 lira, while the selling price of the euro decreased by 0.19% to 36.3310 lira. The selling price of the British pound, which was 43.8500 lira last week, decreased by 0.88% to 43.3370 lira this week. The Swiss franc also found buyers at 38.6580 lira, down 0.59% compared to the previous week.
