Teams that started an investigation after the relatives of Rukiye Yanar, who could not be reached in Manisa, reported her missing, determined that her husband, Adem Yanar, had gone to Ağrı to flee to Iran. The lifeless body of the woman was found in a field in Turgutlu, as indicated by Adem Yanar, who confessed to killing his wife.
On the night of December 20, a dispute broke out for an unknown reason between Adem Yanar (46) and Rukiye Yanar (43), a couple residing in the Saruhanlı district of Manisa. According to allegations, the argument continued while the couple was traveling by car. It is claimed that Adem Yanar shot his wife with a gun in the Ova area of Turgutlu and then fled the scene.
CAUGHT WHILE TRYING TO FLEE ABROAD
Relatives who could not reach Rukiye Yanar reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. In the investigation conducted by the teams following the report, it was determined that Adem Yanar had gone to Doğubeyazıt in Ağrı to escape to Iran, while Rukiye Yanar could not be reached.
DEAD BODY FOUND IN THE FIELD
Following the suspect's tracking, he was caught and taken into custody in Ağrı. After the suspect stated in his statement that he had killed his wife, police teams went to the Ova area in Turgutlu, where they found the lifeless body of Rukiye Yanar.
After the examination by the teams and the Public Prosecutor, Rukiye Yanar's body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. It was learned that the suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
