The name of the person who took charge of intelligence in Syria has been revealed.

After the overthrow of the Baath regime in Syria, Enes Hattap was appointed as the new head of the intelligence agency in the interim government.

According to a report by the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the Syrian General Command announced the appointment of the head of the intelligence agency. Accordingly, Enes Hattap has become the new head of the country's intelligence agency. No detailed information was shared about Hattap. Hattap has a long history with Ahmed Shara (Colani).

HE HAS A LONG HISTORY WITH SHARA

It is known that Enes Hattap (also known as Abu Ahmed Hudud), one of the founders of HTS, has been fighting alongside the leader of the new administration in Syria, Ahmed Shara (Colani), for a long time. It is reported that Hattap, like Ahmed Shara, went to the region to fight against the US during the Iraq invasion. In 2013, Hattap, who was one of Ahmed Shara's (Colani) bodyguards, was placed on the US sanctions list in 2014. Hattap, who supported Ahmed Shara during HTS's transformation process, also led numerous operations against the terrorist organizations ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Idlib.
