Neighbors of 51-year-old Alper O., who had not been heard from in İzmir, went to his boat at the port. It was learned that the individual, found hanging from a rope, had rented out his chicken farm some time ago and spent the majority of his time on the boat.
The body of Alper O. (51) was found hanging by a rope on a buoy in a boat in the port of Foça district of İzmir.
The incident occurred on the sailing boat named Captain, which belonged to Alper O. and was moored to a buoy approximately 50 meters off the coast within the Büyükdeniz Port of Foça. Neighbors who had not heard from Alper O. became suspicious and went to his boat in the harbor. Upon arriving at the boat, the neighbor found Alper O. hanging.
Upon notification of the situation, health and Coast Guard Command teams arrived at the scene. Health teams determined that Alper O. had passed away during their examination. After the prosecutor's investigation, Alper O.'s body was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

It was revealed that Alper O. lived in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir, was single, and had rented out his chicken farm located in the Gerenköy Yapalak area of Foça some time ago. An investigation has been initiated regarding the death of Alper O., who was reported to have spent most of his time on the boat.
