According to the information obtained, the accident took place in front of the Justice Palace on the Sivas-Ankara highway. A car hit 20-year-old Tolga Çiftçi, a student at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Sivas Cumhuriyet University, while he was trying to cross the road.

The 20-year-old young man who was hit by the car was seriously injured. Çiftçi, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions. It was learned that 20-year-old Tolga Çiftçi was the cousin of Uğur Çiftçi, the successful football player and captain of Sivasspor, a team in the Super League.
