In an operation targeting Maydonoz Döner related to FETÖ in three provinces centered around Samsun, 23 suspects were detained. In this context, an investigation was conducted into "Kral Döner," a business identified as being opened by Maydonoz Döner and the same partners, regarding "membership in a FETÖ armed terrorist organization and financing of the organization."
The Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch and Intelligence Branch teams, in coordination with the Samsun Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, determined that the official or unofficial owners and first-degree relatives of the branches of 'Maydonoz Döner', owned by Somca Food Distribution and Marketing Inc. located in Istanbul and granted franchise rights through a trademark system, are heavily connected to FETÖ.
INVESTIGATION INTO KING DÖNER
In this context, an investigation into 'membership in the FETÖ armed terrorist organization and financing of the organization' was conducted against 'Maydonoz Döner' located in Samsun and the establishment named 'King Döner', which was found to be opened by the same partners.
23 SUSPECTS DETAINED
With the MASAK report identifying financial movements and criminal activities related to the crime, 23 suspects, including expelled police officers, expelled soldiers, expelled teachers, expelled prosecutors, and retired religious officials, were captured and detained in operations carried out in Samsun's İlkadım, Canik, Çarşamba, and Vezirköprü districts, as well as in Ankara and Istanbul.
4 NOTEBOOKS SEIZED
During the searches, a computer, mobile phone, memory card, 389,000 lira packaged separately, 250 dollars, and 4 notebooks were seized. The investigation is ongoing.
