The increase rate for retirees for the period of January to July 2025 has been determined to be 15.75% based on the inflation data from the last six months. As part of this increase, the minimum pension for SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees has been raised from 12,500 TL to 14,469 TL. While the increase aims to enhance the purchasing power of retirees, it has also been clarified when the payment of the difference in the increase will be deposited into their accounts.
The increase rate that millions of retirees will receive in the period from January to July 2025 has been determined as 15.75% based on the last 6 months' inflation data. Within this framework, the lowest pension for SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees has increased from 12,500 TL to 14,469 TL.
WHEN WILL IT BE DEPOSITED INTO ACCOUNTS?
While the increase aims to enhance the purchasing power of retirees, it has also been announced when the difference payments will be deposited into accounts. The Social Security Institution (SGK) announced that the difference payment for those receiving the lowest pension will be deposited into accounts tomorrow. In a statement made by SGK, the following was stated: "We are paying the difference amounts to our retirees and beneficiaries. You can withdraw your payments from the bank and PTT branch where you receive your income/monthly. You can collect it on February 11, 2025."
