Minister Kurum said, "Our housing will be interest-free, with a fixed price of 8,750 for 18 years, and there will be no payments for the first 2 years."
The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, shared the payment schedule for disaster housing in 11 of our cities that were severely damaged by the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023. Minister Kurum stated that the state would cover 65% of the housing costs, and the payments would be interest-free, with a fixed installment of 8,750 TL for 18 years.

Murat Kurum, in a statement made on his social media account, said, "We will cover 65% of the costs in all disaster housing in our 11 provinces. Our houses will be interest-free, with a fixed price of 8,750 for 18 years, and there will be no payments for the first 2 years. In our village houses, the fixed installment will be 8,100 lira. If anyone wants to pay in cash, they can purchase the village houses for 448,000 lira with a 74% discount at 484,000 lira. Our public banks will offer loan opportunities," he stated.
