THEY KEEP IT AS A PET IN JAPAN

"ONCE IT STICKS, IT DOESN'T LET GO"

Emine Çağlar, who found the stag beetle in her house in Feke, said, "In the summer, this beetle always comes to our house. We can't hold it with our hands; it sticks firmly. Those who come from outside are scared, but we villagers are used to it. It comes more in the evening light. We call it 'horned ant.' It turns out its real name is stag beetle. You shouldn't harm such beetles; you should love them and not harm them. They won't do anything to you. Once it sticks to your hand, it won't let go easily, but you will release it into nature without hurting it," she informed.
