CAUGHT ON THE SAME DAY
In an incident that occurred today on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, footage of a person in a costume running in a way that endangered traffic was shared on social media. Following the footage, it was determined by the Istanbul Police Department that the person running in a costume on the bridge was E.C.E., and that S.K. facilitated access to the bridge. Both suspects were captured and detained by the teams. In a statement made by the Istanbul Police regarding the matter, it was noted that "the individual named S.K. was found to have endangered traffic flow while recording a video of E.C.E., who was running on the bridge in costume, and the individuals were apprehended by the officials on the same day."
ADMINISTRATIVE FINE IMPOSED
An administrative fine of 1,380 lira was imposed on the individual named S.K. for violating Article 2918 of the Highway Traffic Law, which states 'to stop or park on the highway outside of urban areas except in emergencies.' An administrative fine of 690 lira was imposed on the individual named E.C.E. for violating the provision of Article 2918 of the Highway Traffic Law, which states 'in cases where it is not possible to use the sections allocated for pedestrians or where they do not exist, pedestrians must walk outside the part of the roadway that is close to the edge.'"
