The Turkish National Team, which will continue its struggle in the play-off round on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, maintained its 25th place with 1,582 points in the world ranking announced by the International Football Federation (FIFA) in January. Morocco, the finalist of the Africa Cup of Nations, entered the top 10, securing the 8th position, while Spain remained at the top of the list.
The national football team, which aims to qualify for the World Cup, is ranked 25th in the FIFA world rankings.

According to the January world ranking announced by the International Football Federation (FIFA), Turkey maintained its position at 25th with 1582.69 points.
SPAIN IS AT THE TOP
In the list where Spain is at the top, Argentina is in second place and France is in third place. Morocco, the finalist of the Africa Cup of Nations, managed to enter the top 10, rising 3 places to settle in 8th. Senegal, the champion of the Africa Cup of Nations, climbed 7 places to reach 12th.
OUR RIVALS' RANKING IS ALSO REVEALED
Romania, the opponent of the crescent-starred team in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers play-off round, has dropped to 49th place. Slovakia, one of the potential opponents in the final match, is in 44th place, while Kosovo has risen to 79th. The next world ranking will be announced on April 1, 2026.
