TAX EVASION ALLEGATION
The Spanish Prosecutor's Office claims that Ancelotti evaded more than 1 million Euros in taxes in 2014 and 2015. Of this amount, 386,361 Euros belongs to 2014, and 675,718 Euros to 2015.
4 YEARS 9 MONTHS PRISON SENTENCE
The indictment states that Ancelotti did not accurately declare his income and thus evaded his tax obligations. The prosecution has requested a prison sentence of 4 years and 9 months for the Italian coach.
As part of the investigation, it is alleged that Ancelotti particularly underreported the income he earned from image rights. Tax authorities remind that underreporting such income constitutes a serious crime in Spain.
