"SHE DID GOOD TO EVERYONE AND LEFT WITH GOODNESS" The brother of the teacher expressed that she was a paragon of kindness, saying, "She did good to everyone and left with goodness. Her relatives and friends are in great pain and tragedy. We had a very bad week. She was a very good person. Anyone who saw her once would say 'what a sweet person she was.' She would run to help everyone at the university, saying she was born as a mother and treated everyone as a mother. She was always by my side. We had been together in Ankara for a long time. A very beautiful person left this world, but they left in peace and purity, and they left with goodness. While I was at home, I suddenly felt dizzy, and we were very close to each other. People feel the pain of their loved ones. I was startled when the incident happened. We expect the necessary actions to be taken for justice. We expect the entire incident to be clarified. We are suffering due to negligence. Our precious people are passing away. We will not let this go."
"THE REASON WE DELAYED THE FUNERAL WAS HIS WIFE'S WISH" Brother-in-law Ahmet Menekşe said, "The reason we delayed the funeral was his wife Mustafa's wish. He wanted to attend the funeral and see her once. However, it was said that his condition remained serious, and we started the burial process. His heart was broken; may God not show pain to anyone," he said.
MATERIALS USED IN THE ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION ARE NOT UP TO STANDARD As part of the investigation initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire, it was determined during the technical examination of the building that the electrical installation materials used in the shaft where the fire started were not up to standard, which caused the flames to ignite. Additionally, it was understood that the shaft doors were covered with wooden material in violation of regulations, which led to the rapid spread of the fire inside the building.
Authorities found that due to the lack of water in the fire extinguishing system in the building, the flames continued to spread in the corridors, and the firefighting intervention was delayed.
