The sale of vehicles in the public sector is starting.

The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, spoke about public savings. In this context, he stated that preparations are underway and announcements regarding this will begin soon. Şimşek noted that this move will lighten the financial burden of the state and contribute to the economy.

Speaking on NTV live broadcast, Şimşek stated that inflation continues to slow down within the targeted framework. Emphasizing that progress has been made in public savings, Şimşek mentioned that some of the assets held by the public will be put up for sale. Şimşek said, "We have reduced rental vehicles by 15%. The Privatization Administration will soon start vehicle sales. Deviations in public spending will be below 1%. There was nothing like that before. No ministry will be able to exceed the expenses allocated to it. About a thousand vehicles had been transferred to privatization. We do not allow anything other than necessary vehicle rentals," he said.
