In the case of 9-year-old Narin Güran, who was brutally murdered in Diyarbakır, her uncle Salim Güran, who was sentenced to life imprisonment, released a message through his brother from prison. While the case is being appealed to the Court of Cassation, Salim Güran accused Nevzat Bahtiyar in his statement from prison.

A new development has occurred in the case of 9-year-old Narin Güran, who was brutally murdered in Diyarbakır. Salim Güran, the uncle sentenced to life imprisonment, released a message through his brother from prison.

ALL EYES ON THE SUPREME COURT IN THE NARIN GÜRAN CASE

In the trial regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır on August 21, 2024, and whose body was found on September 8, 2024, four people were sentenced. As a result of the case, the detained defendants; mother Yüksel Güran, uncle Salim Güran, and brother Enes Güran were sentenced to life imprisonment for "intentional murder of a child in complicity." In connection with the incident, the defendant Nevzat Bahtiyar was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for "destroying, concealing, or altering evidence." The court stated in its reasoning that the defendants acted in unity of thought and action in the act of killing, and it was established by evidence that they participated together in the stages of the victim's murder, transportation, and concealment. While the decision was appealed to the Supreme Court, Salim Güran's family visited him in Erzurum Prison.

SALIM GÜRAN POINTED TO THE KILLER

The message from former muhtar uncle Salim Güran was shared by his brother on social media. Salim Güran, who is detained for "killing a child in complicity," again accused Nevzat Bahtiyar in his statement.

According to a report by Sabah, Salim Güran, who made a statement through his brother, said, "I would like to thank everyone who did not leave us alone in these difficult days. May Allah be pleased with everyone who did not withhold their support during this challenging process, who chased the truth, and who fought courageously for our daughter Narin, sacrificing their nights and days."

In a message shared on social media, uncle Salim Güran accused Nevzat, stating, "All the evidence that has emerged clearly points to the killer Nevzat. Everything is evident. We will fight until the last drop of our blood, we will not remain silent, we will not stay quiet."
