Eighty-year-old Azize Vatansever reached the 300,000 TL question with her impressive performance on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and left the competition with a prize of 200,000 TL. The latest episode of the program "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" broadcasted on ATV screens provided viewers with both informative moments and deep emotions. 80-year-old Azize Vatansever, who participated in the program, made a significant impact not only with her knowledge but also with her impressive life story.
Vatansever, who participated in the competition with great excitement, passed the initial questions without difficulty and reached the second threshold question. With her knowledge and calmness, she progressed to the 9th question and earned the right to see the question worth 300,000 TL.
However, in the 10th question, she faced a question asking which type of proverb was not included in the records of the Turkish Language Association. Uncertain about the answer, Vatansever decided to withdraw from the competition and shared a deeply affecting memory while explaining her decision to the audience.
EMOTIONAL MOMENTS WERE EXPERIENCED
In her speech that brought tears to the eyes of the show's host Oktay Kaynarca, Vatansever recounted an emotional dream about her father, whom she lost at a young age. "My father was the headman of our village. I remember the games we played together as if it were yesterday. In a dream, he told me, 'I am always watching you, you will be strong.' When I woke up, I had received the news of his death. He always used to say, 'The more you fear, the more in danger you are,'" she shared her experiences with these words. Unable to control her emotions, Vatansever said, "A father's love is indescribable. He was a very special person," and could not hold back her tears. Leaving the competition with a prize of 200,000 TL, Vatansever left both her knowledge and the memories in her heart as a legacy to the viewers. She also drew attention as one of the oldest contestants to participate in the competition to date.
