In this context, with the regulatory change made by our Ministry at the end of May, price increases that are not consistent with general economic data and do not have a valid justification have been prohibited in real estate listings provided on the internet, and the way has been opened for administrative fines to be imposed on property owners for such increases."

Gürcan stated, "As a result of reports, inspections, and analyses conducted on real estate listings provided electronically; it has been determined that 21 property owners have increased their listing prices in a way that is not consistent with general economic data after the date the regulatory change was made, and it has been decided to impose an administrative fine of 200,000 TL on each of the relevant property owners, totaling 4.2 million TL. All necessary measures to create a transparent and balanced market structure in the real estate sector and to protect the interests of our citizens will continue to be taken without delay," he said.
