President Erdoğan and state officials visited Anıtkabir on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day. Erdoğan wrote in the Anıtkabir Special Book, "They are still active even after 100 years. Our state is taking measures for security and peace."

August 30 Victory Day is celebrated across the country with various ceremonies. The programs in Ankara started at Anıtkabir with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The state officials, led by President Erdoğan, visited Anıtkabir.
In the procession led by President Erdoğan, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, members of the Presidential Cabinet, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, heads of the high judiciary, commanders, representatives of political parties, bureaucrats, and other state officials were present.
After Erdoğan laid a wreath with a star and crescent motif on Atatürk's mausoleum, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung. We remember with mercy you and your comrades who contributed to the victory that we have certified Anatolia as our eternal and ancient homeland. Those who harbor imperial ambitions are, just like a century ago, not idle today and are pursuing insidious calculations. In the face of plans to plunge our geography into instability, our state is taking all necessary measures for its own security and the peace of its citizens. The Republic of Turkey, which is your legacy, is under complete security with capable and competent leadership. May your soul rest in peace."
CEREMONIES WILL BE HELD AT BEŞTEPE ON AUGUST 30
Afterward, President Erdoğan will receive congratulations for August 30 Victory Day at the Presidential Complex. President Erdoğan will attend the Diploma Awarding and Flag Transfer Ceremony at the Land Forces Academy and will watch the Special Concert for August 30 Victory Day at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center.
