Fatih Bulut, who killed his friend Veli Arslandağ with whom he had a feud in Adana, was captured and arrested after the incident. It was reported that Bulut stated in his testimony that he committed the murder due to a dispute that occurred.
In ADANA, it has emerged that Fatih Bulut (29), who killed his friend Veli Arslandağ (21) with whom he had a feud during a dispute and took him to the hospital with his companions, was caught while trying to escape by car. In his statement, Bulut said, "Veli beat me about 4 months ago for no reason. When I couldn't digest the situation, I went to talk to him. When he attacked me, I shot him with a gun," and both Bulut and the 4 people with him were arrested.
THE DISPUTE QUICKLY ESCALATED INTO A FIGHT
The incident occurred the day before yesterday around 03:00 in the Toros neighborhood of the Çukurova district. Fatih Bulut, along with his girlfriend Büşra K. (23) and friends Ömer Faruk K. (24) and Barış Y. (21), went to the front of the apartment where his feuding friend Veli Arslandağ lived. A dispute broke out between the parties at the garden gate, which quickly escalated into a fight. During the scuffle, Bulut pulled out a gun from his waist and shot Arslandağ in the abdomen, leg, and neck. The suspects loaded the bleeding Arslandağ into a car and took him to a nearby private hospital. After Arslandağ died during surgery, Bulut fled in the car of Engin D. (40), whom he had called to his side by phone.
5 SUSPECTS DETAINED
Teams from the Homicide Bureau, who went to the hospital upon notification, detained Büşra K., Ömer Faruk K., and Barış Y. Fatih Bulut and Engin D., who were determined to be on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Highway, were caught in the Sarıçam district when their vehicle was blocked. During the search of the car, the unlicensed gun used by Bulut in the incident was also seized. The police took the 5 suspects they detained to the police station.
THEY WERE ARRESTED
In the interrogation, suspect Fatih Bulut stated, "Veli beat me about 4 months ago for no reason. I saw that he made insulting posts about me. When I couldn't digest the situation, I went to talk to him. When he attacked me, I shot him, I regret it." After their procedures at the police station, Fatih Bulut and the other 4 suspects were arrested by the court to which they were referred.
