ACTION TAKEN AFTER 122 CALL
The incident occurred around 08:30 in the Falez-2 Park area located on Lara Street in the Yeşilbahçe neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district. According to the information obtained, citizens who saw a person lying motionless on the surface of the sea in the morning reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, sea police affiliated with the Antalya Police Department's Marine Port Branch and a boat from the Coast Guard Command were dispatched to the scene.
CLAIM OF FALLING FROM THE CLIFFS
The sea police and Coast Guard teams that arrived at the given location retrieved the male corpse from the water and brought it to the Marina. The body was handed over to the 112 Emergency Medical teams waiting there. The corpse, believed to have fallen from the cliffs and with no identification found on him, was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for the determination of the exact cause of death after the investigations by the Crime Scene Investigation team.
