The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will announce the inflation figures for May today. The Consumer Price Index increased by 3% compared to the previous month in April, while it decreased to 37.86% on an annual basis.

The average inflation expectation of the economists participating in the survey for May was 2.10%. The inflation expectations of economists for May ranged between 1.80% and 2.75%. According to the average inflation expectation of economists for May (2.10%), it is predicted that the annual inflation, which was 37.86% in the previous month, will decrease to 36.17%. On the other hand, the inflation expectation of economists for the end of 2025 was 31.17% as of May.
