The likelihood of the U.S. and Israel returning to the table has increased after talks in Pakistan failed to yield a result. According to reports on CNN, Turkey is conducting intensive diplomatic efforts, and the U.S. and Iran are considering meeting again in Islamabad or Geneva before the ceasefire ends. It was noted that a second round of talks could take place on Thursday.

Tensions escalated after the first round of talks in Pakistan's capital Islamabad failed to yield results. While the US decision to blockade the Strait of Hormuz further heightened war concerns, a promising claim emerged.

TURKEY ONCE AGAIN IN THE GAME, US AND IRAN MAY MEET

It was claimed that the US and Iran decided to meet again before the ceasefire period expired. According to CNN's report, Turkey's intensive diplomatic contacts were effective in this decision. It was reported that the parties are considering Islamabad or Geneva options for the second round of talks expected to take place on Thursday.

Ahead of the critical summit, Turkey continues its mediation activities to reduce tensions in the region. This meeting, to be held just days before the ceasefire ends, is seen as the last chance for military movements in the region to stop. Diplomatic sources are focused on whether Thursday's meeting will establish a permanent peace ground.

NO RESULT FROM THE NEGOTIATIONS

The Washington and Tehran administrations had conducted negotiations in Islamabad through Pakistan.

US Vice President JD Vance announced that the direct negotiations with Iran in Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, ended "without reaching an agreement."

In Iranian media, it was suggested that the reason for not reaching a common framework and agreement in the Tehran-Washington talks in Islamabad was the excessive demands of the US.
