The National Assembly of South Korea has passed a bill that bans the use of mobile phones and smart devices during school hours. The law will not apply to emergencies and students with disabilities.
A bill prohibiting the use of mobile phones and smart devices during class hours in schools has been accepted in South Korea. The South Korean parliament has approved the bill that bans the use of mobile phones and smart devices during class hours in schools. It was reported that in the vote held in the National Assembly of South Korea, 115 out of 163 members voted in favor of the bill.
WILL NOT COVER STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS
According to the new law, students will not be able to use their mobile phones and smart devices during class hours. However, students with disabilities and those with special education needs, as well as emergencies, will be exempt from this rule.
