The tourist areas of İzmir, Çeşme and Ödemiş, are battling forest fires fueled by the wind. Due to the fire that started in agricultural land and quickly spread to forested areas, three neighborhoods were evacuated, and transportation was disrupted at the Alaçatı toll booths. Despite aerial and ground interventions, the flames could not be brought under control, and the surf school of Tarkan's ex-girlfriend, Bilge Öztürk, was also damaged by the fire.

Especially in Çeşme, the flames, which grew rapidly due to the wind, put both the local residents and holidaymakers in a difficult situation. The fire, which started in agricultural lands, quickly spread to forested areas. As a precaution, three neighborhoods were evacuated, and panic ensued in the region due to the fire.
AIR INTERVENTION WITH AIRPLANES AND HELICOPTERS
Efforts to intervene in the fire in Çeşme are ongoing without interruption. In the firefighting efforts, 2 planes, 6 helicopters, and numerous ground teams are involved. Especially due to the fire line being within the Alaçatı toll booths, there were disruptions in road transportation. The teams are struggling to cope with the severe winds.
BİLGE ÖZTÜRK'S SURF SCHOOL BURNED DOWN
Among those affected by the fire are also well-known names in the public eye. Bilge Öztürk, a lawyer and surfing enthusiast who was once in the spotlight due to her relationship with Tarkan, saw her surf school in Çeşme completely turn to ashes in the fire. Sharing the last images on her social media account, Öztürk stated, "Friends, we are very sad. These are the last images before the cameras burned."
While it remains uncertain when the fire will be brought under control, authorities have warned citizens to stay away from the area and pay attention to safety warnings.
