Australian treasure hunter Tyler Mahoney has turned his quest for gold into a profession, sometimes going out alone and sometimes with his brother. Recently, Mahoney found gold worth 5 million lira and shared a gold map and its cities during a YouTube broadcast. Speaking about his favorite cities, Mahoney provided exciting information for treasure hunters.
HE LISTED THE CITIES WITH THE MOST GOLD
Having been digging for gold for years, Mahoney also listed the cities where gold is most commonly found. He mentioned working in regions such as Bolivia, Peru, New Zealand, Canada, and Alaska, and highlighted Yukon/Dawson City as his favorite area due to its unique nature and local culture. Additionally, Nevada, California, and Alaska in the USA are also among the important gold regions.
THEY TURN IT INTO BARS AND SEND IT TO THE MINT
Mahoney also shared that he and his brother found an ironstone lode (main source) containing gold worth about 100 thousand dollars on a hill. He stated that they usually search for alluvial gold (free particles) and sell large gold pieces in their raw form due to the "nugget premium," while they crush and grind fine gold to separate it using panning and devices, turning it into bars to send to the mint.
