ICBC has decided to close the operations of its 5 branches in Turkey, while merging 7 of its branches into other branches. Currently, ICBC has 31 branches in Turkey, and after the changes, the total number of branches will be reduced to 19.
The world's largest bank, ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), is preparing for a significant operational change in Turkey, where it has been operating since 2014.

In the announcement made by the bank, it was stated that "it has been decided to terminate the operations of 5 branches, and to merge 7 branches with other branches."
NUMBER OF BRANCHES WILL DROP TO 19
Currently, ICBC has 31 branches in Turkey, and after the change, the total number of branches will be reduced to 19. The bank, which primarily provides financing for significant investments of companies, entered the Turkish market in 2014 with the acquisition of shares from Tekstilbanka.
