An 18-year-old youth, who was performing acrobatic moves on a bicycle while lying on a busy highway in Gaziantep, died after colliding with a car in front of him. The accident was captured by his friends' mobile phone camera.
A young man, 18 years old, who collided with a car on the highway while lying on his bicycle in Gaziantep, lost his life.
THE BICYCLE SHOW OF YOUNG PEOPLE ENDED IN DEATH
The accident occurred on February 21 in the evening hours in the Şehitkamil district, in the Şehirgösteren neighborhood on the historic Silk Road. 18-year-old Barış Tanrıverdi collided with a car on the highway while lying on his bicycle. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Tanrıverdi, who was taken to Şehitkamil State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved. His body was handed over to his relatives for burial after the procedures were completed at the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institution.

Meanwhile, the accident was captured on the cellphone camera of Tanrıverdi's friends. The footage shows Tanrıverdi attempting to maneuver left with the bicycle he was trying to ride while lying on it, and then rapidly colliding with the car in front of him.
