The Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested the examination of all security cameras along the coastline between the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge, considering the possibility that Russian swimmer Nikola Svechinikov may not have drowned after going missing without completing his swimming course.
ALL CAMERAS WILL BE EXAMINED
According to the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was evaluated that Russian swimmer Nikola Svechinikov started swimming by jumping from the diving platform at 10:08 but did not reach the finish line of the course, and no finish data was obtained. Considering the possibility of not being in danger of drowning, it was assessed that the individual might have exited from another area outside the finish point. Therefore, it was requested to investigate the security cameras of parks, gardens, hotels, and similar places that overlook the entire coastline between the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge.
