The game platform Roblox, which was blocked by the BTK last month, has released an official statement regarding the ban in Turkey. In the written statement, it was stated that "on September 2, 2024, we filed an appeal against the final decision of the Adana 6th Criminal Court of Peace. Roblox respects local laws and regulations in Turkey and is collaborating with local authorities to restore access for our users and prioritize the safety of Roblox users."
The Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) had blocked access to the popular game Roblox among children in August. The gaming platform was banned from access by the decision of the Adana 6th Criminal Peace Court.
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç stated regarding the ban of Roblox in Turkey, "It should not be forgotten that the Republic of Turkey is a state of law. Our state is obliged to take necessary measures to protect our children according to our Constitution."

After approximately a month, Roblox made an official statement regarding the ban in Turkey. Roblox respects the local laws and regulations in Turkey and collaborates with local authorities to restore access to the platform for our users and prioritize the safety of Roblox users."
