THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING THE AIRCRAFT FOR FLIGHT
Mayor Kargı reminded that the martyred personnel successfully fulfilled important duties in preparing fighter jets for flight, stating, "They were all aircraft maintenance technical personnel. They were the people in the kitchen of the team that performed all kinds of maintenance on a very exceptional aircraft like the F-16 and brought it to the runway after completing the flight. They were very qualified. May God grant patience to their families. We feel the sorrow of losing such valuable people whose places cannot be filled deeply."
