THEY CAME TO THE PARK AT NIGHT
The incident occurred on the night of December 20 at Edikli Park on Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard in the Onikişubat district. The two suspects arrived at the park by car and wandered around for a while.
THEY PULLED OUT THE TREE, LOADED IT INTO THE CAR, AND FLED
The suspects then removed the tree from the large pot, loaded it into the car, and quickly fled the area.
Municipal workers who arrived at the park in the morning noticed that the tree was missing and reported the situation to the authorities. Following this, the security camera footage was reviewed.
THE MUNICIPALITY REPORTED TO THE POLICE
Upon determining that the tree was stolen by two individuals in the footage, Onikişubat Municipality reported the incident to the police along with the camera recordings.
Police teams began working to identify and apprehend the suspects based on the security camera footage.
