In Yalova, citizens gathered in the hospital courtyard to show support following the operation against ISIS, in which three police officers were martyred. The citizens had difficulty calming down when they mistakenly believed a wounded person brought by the police was an ISIS member.

After the DEAŞ operation in Yalova, where 3 heroic police officers were martyred and 8 police officers and a guard were injured, citizens gathered in the hospital garden to support the injured police officers. They reacted when the police brought in an injured person, mistaking him for a member of DEAŞ.

Amid the citizens' reactions, the teams that struggled to get the injured person into the hospital had to close the hospital doors. The angry crowd cursed the terrorist organization and expressed their outrage.

In Yalova, security teams conducted an operation against the terrorist organization DEAŞ at a house on the road to Elmalık village, which is affiliated with the center. During the operation, our police officers were fired upon by DEAŞ terrorists. As a result of the attack, our police officers İlker Pehlivan, Turgut Külünk, and Yasin Koçyiğit were martyred. In the attack, 8 of our police officers and 1 guard were also injured.
