The region became chaotic after separatists launched attacks at 12 different points in Balochistan on Saturday in Pakistan. The desert town seized by the separatists was recaptured after three days of clashes, while simultaneous attacks resulted in the deaths of 58 people.
The toll is rising from the terrorist attack carried out by the separatist Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) on Saturday in Pakistan.
The number of casualties in the simultaneous attacks in the cities of Ketta, Haran, and Gwadar, as well as in the regions of Panjgur, Tump, Pasni, and the towns of Mastung, Nushki, and Dalbandin, has risen to 58, including 22 security personnel.
197 MILITANTS KILLED
Following the attacks targeting civilians, 197 militants were killed in clashes that erupted at more than 12 points between Pakistani security forces and BLA elements.
OPERATION CONDUCTED
Pakistani security forces stated that an operation was conducted against the separatists in the southwestern town of Nushki after three days of clashes, saying, "More soldiers were deployed to Nushki. Helicopters and drones were used against the militants." Security officials reported that the attacks began on Saturday at 04:00 local time with suicide bombings in Nushki and Pasni, and armed and grenade attacks were carried out at various points, including Ketta.
THEY TOOK CONTROL OF 6 DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGS
The insurgents took control of at least 6 district administration buildings during the siege and approached as close as 1 kilometer to the provincial chief minister's office in Ketta.
