Three guards repeatedly raped a 14-year-old boy! The details in the indictment are chilling.

In the district of Ceyhan in Adana, it is alleged that security guards raped a 17-year-old mentally disabled girl two years ago and forced her to have sexual intercourse with others for money. The details in the indictment are chilling, and the girl's mother and lawyer want the guards, who are still on duty, to receive the punishment they deserve as soon as possible.

TAKEN TO AN EMPTY LAND AND RAPED

According to the allegations, C.I., a 17-year-old mentally disabled girl living in the district of Ceyhan in Adana, reported to the patrol guards O.D. and Mehmet Can D. (36), who is married and has one child, that she was having problems with her family on November 11, 2022, when she was 14 years old. The young girl, who was calmed down by the guards, later went home. After a while, C.I. and guard Mehmet Can D. started to meet. Mehmet Can D., who got closer to the young girl, started picking her up from school with his car and they became lovers. In the same year, Mehmet Can D. took C.I. to an empty land with his car. Mehmet Can D., who raped the young girl there, threatened her to keep quiet.

FORCED INTO RELATIONSHIPS FOR MONEY

After a while, Mehmet Can D. called the young girl and allegedly forced her to have sexual intercourse with security guards Fatih Ş. (36) and Mehmet Ali T. (34) in exchange for money. The young girl, who was threatened with death and given drugs, was raped by the three guards many times. In addition, Mehmet Can D. gave C.I. 500-1000 TL and sent her home after each encounter.

COULD NOT BEAR THE PRESSURE AND TOLD HER MOTHER

C.I., who could not bear the pressure from guard Mehmet Can D., told her mother Hatice I. about her ordeal in 2023. Upon this, the mother and daughter went to the Ceyhan District Police Department and then to the prosecutor's office to file a complaint. After the complaints, C.I. was placed in foster homes first in Adana and then in another city, and the statements of the guards were taken.

"I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH HER"

According to Mehmet Can D.'s statement, "The allegations against me are baseless. I only met this person in the building where I work. I did not meet her outside in any way. There was no coercion for sexual intercourse. I did not have sexual intercourse with her. I did not give her any money like 500 TL or 1000 TL" it was learned. In addition, in the statement of the other guards, Mehmet Ali T. said, "C.I.'s statements are false. I did not have any sexual intercourse with her in any way," and Fatih Ş. denied the allegations and said, "My father died 6 months ago. I did not have any sexual intercourse with this person. She is making false accusations" it was learned.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION ON CELL PHONES

Furthermore, upon the statements, the Ceyhan Chief Public Prosecutor's Office decided to conduct an investigation on the individuals' cell phones. In the examination of C.I.'s cell phone, it was determined that there were 480 hours, 38 minutes, and 33 seconds of conversations with guard Mehmet Can D. in 9 months, while there was no conversation with guard Fatih Ş., and there were 2 conversations of 73 and 78 seconds with guard Mehmet Ali T. within 9 months. In addition, it was stated that guard Mehmet Can D. handed over another cell phone to the authorities instead of the cell phone he currently uses during the examination at the prosecutor's office.

DISGUSTING CONVERSATIONS EMERGED

Furthermore, in the same investigation, in the 'Telegram' messages of another guard who was interviewed and whose cell phone was examined, interesting conversations were revealed. In the conversations held in a group where the guards were present, messages such as "C. says she won't eat onions when meeting with her guard boyfriends because her mouth smells", "Mehmet Ali won't just be expelled, he will face charges for facilitating prostitution, he will be involved", "There is a guard who sells C." were found.

INDICTMENT PREPARED

The Ceyhan Chief Public Prosecutor's Office completed the investigation on July 5. An indictment was prepared against guards Fatih Ş. and Mehmet Ali T. for "having sexual intercourse with a minor" and against guard Mehmet Can D. for "encouraging or facilitating prostitution of children, engaging in or facilitating drug or stimulant trafficking, having sexual intercourse with a minor, sexual abuse of a child under the age of 15."

GUARDS CONTINUE THEIR DUTIES

The trial of the guards will begin on October 24 at the Ceyhan 1st Heavy Penal Court. Furthermore, it was learned that the guards are still on duty.

"I TRUST MY COUNTRY"

Hatice I., the mother of C.I., spoke to Ihlas News Agency and explained that her child is going through difficult times, saying, "My child has hidden all these incidents from us. Because they threatened her by saying 'we will kill your mother'. Her father and I are separated. My child is currently staying in foster homes. I cannot take her with me. If I take her and go to Ceyhan, those individuals will continue their duties. I am afraid. They call me and ask me to withdraw the complaint. I trust my country, may God never separate us from our country."

"OUR CASE IS ONGOING"

The family's lawyer, Merve Şahin, explained that their client is 25% mentally disabled and said, "Our client was sexually abused when she was 14 years old. Then this situation escalated to exploitation for money. The incident came to light at the end of 2022, and the family went and filed a complaint. They came to us and we pursued the case. The Ceyhan Chief Public Prosecutor's Office also deepened the investigation. While the main culprit was charged with 4 separate crimes, the other two guards were charged with 'having sexual intercourse with a minor'. Our case is currently ongoing in the heavy penal court."

Lawyer Şahin, who could not understand why the three guards are still on duty, said, "We are uncomfortable with the fact that these individuals are still on duty despite what they have done. A disciplinary investigation is being conducted against these individuals, but we have not yet received any results from this investigation. As long as these individuals continue their duties, the lives of other children will be in danger. We want these individuals to receive the punishment they deserve as soon as possible."
