JOINT STATEMENT FROM TURKEY AND 10 ARAB COUNTRIES

The statement said, "We support Syria's security, unity, stability, and sovereignty, and we reject any external intervention in its internal affairs." The announcement condemned Israel's repeated attacks on Syria, emphasizing that these attacks are a clear violation of international law and undermine efforts to rebuild Syria. The statement welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached yesterday in the city of Sweida, stressing that the ceasefire should be implemented in a way that protects civilians and ensures the supremacy of the state and the law.

"WE REJECT VIOLENCE, SECTARIANISM, FITNA, AND INCITEMENT ATTEMPTS"

The statement expressed satisfaction with Syrian President Ahmed Shara's commitment to hold accountable those responsible for violations against Syrian citizens in Sweida, stating, "We support all efforts to ensure security, state, and the rule of law in Sweida and throughout Syrian territory, and we reject violence, sectarianism, fitna, and incitement attempts."
