BIST 100 gains over 700 points from previous close.
Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 101,922.15 points on Wednesday, up 0.70% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 101,597.7 points. As of today's close, it had gained 709.24 points from Tuesday's close of 101,212.91 points.
According to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, the price of one ounce of gold was around $1,492.70 by market close, down from $1,493.50 at the previous close.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $62.40 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
