At least 12 people killed as magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck western part of country on Monday.

Turkiye on Tuesday extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in Monday's earthquake in western Afghanistan.

At least 12 people, including children, were killed and many others injured after a magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck the Badghis province in Afghanistan on Monday.

In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry wished a swift recovery to the injured and reiterated that Turkiye stands ready to provide every kind of humanitarian assistance. -
