Two siblings, aged 2 and 11, were playing on the site of a factory under construction in Şanlıurfa when a metal profile fell on them. The siblings lost their lives at the scene.
According to reports, in the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) located within the borders of Eyyübiye district in Şanlıurfa, 11-year-old Gazale Şeriy and her 2-year-old brother Ahmed Şeriy were trapped under a fallen iron profile while playing on the site of a factory under construction.
2 SIBLINGS LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon notification, fire and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The medical teams determined during their checks that both children had lost their lives. The bodies were taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue for autopsy after the investigation at the scene.
The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
