While the war between the US, Israel, and Iran continues with full force, a surprising statement came from US President Donald Trump. Speaking to CBS News over the phone, Trump said, "I think the war is largely over." Trump also mentioned that he has a name in mind that could succeed Khamenei, but did not provide details on who it is.
NUMBER OF US SOLDIERS KILLED IS 7
Meanwhile, CENTCOM stated yesterday that the number of US soldiers killed has increased, saying: "Last night, a US soldier died from wounds sustained during the initial attacks by the Iranian regime in the Middle East. The soldier was severely injured at the site of an attack on US forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1."
This is our seventh soldier to die in combat during Operation Epic Fury. Large-scale combat operations are ongoing. The identity of the fallen soldier will not be disclosed until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified."
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed. According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people have lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
