"WE HAVEN'T HAD WATER IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD FOR 3 DAYS"

Citizens stated that water has not been flowing for 3 days and that they are experiencing great hardship. Sinan Koçyiğit, one of the neighborhood residents, expressed that they are carrying water from fountains and tankers to their homes, saying, "We haven't had water in our neighborhood for 3 days. This is the third tanker since morning. Moreover, the water from this tanker is not drinkable. We are getting it for our bathing, toilet, and dishwashing needs. We are complaining to both the municipality and our building management." Gövher Miliyeva, a neighborhood resident who has a 16-year-old disabled child, also stated, "My child, whom I take care of, needs water every day. I need to wash him and also change his clothes. My laundry and dishes have piled up. Plus, I live on the 7th floor. We are a very large family. When we need something, our relatives call and ask, 'Do you have water?' And think of me, I have a 16-year-old disabled child. We are in a very bad situation," she expressed.
