A woman healthcare worker, who experienced a nervous breakdown at the taxi stand of Bursa City Hospital because she was not allowed to get into a taxi filled with passengers, caused damage to windows and electronic equipment. The incident resulted in approximately 150,000 lira in material damage. As the moments were captured on camera, those who saw the woman were left in shock. The incident occurred at the taxi stand of Bursa City Hospital in the Doğanköy neighborhood of the central Nilüfer district. According to the information obtained, S.B. (32), a healthcare worker who came to the stand to take a taxi, was directed to the next taxi as the one in line was reported to be full. Following this, the woman began to argue with the attendant and, in anger, attacked the stand. It was learned that the suspect broke the windows of the taxi stand, the computer screen, and the security cameras with a portable ashtray and paint cans found at the stand, and also damaged a mobile phone. These moments were recorded by a citizen. Upon notification, police teams who arrived at the scene initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
THE RESPONSIBLE PERSON OF THE TAXI STAND FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE WOMAN
On the other hand, in a statement made by the taxi stand authorities, it was expressed that the perpetrator of the incident was a regular customer of the stand, had been experiencing psychological issues for a long time, and had caused similar incidents before. The statement said, "The damage experienced is entirely the result of an uncontrolled moment. Our stand and our driver friends have no fault or provocation in the incident. The fact that no one was harmed is our greatest consolation." The responsible person of the taxi stand, A.S., applied to the police, stating that the windows of the taxi stand, the computer screen, and the security cameras were damaged, and that there was a material damage of 150,000 lira, and filed a complaint.
