Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Istanbul for a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, arrived in Istanbul for talks. In the meeting that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will hold with Zelensky, bilateral relations with Ukraine as well as regional developments will be discussed.
DIPLOMATIC STEPS FOR CEASEFIRE WILL BE DISCUSSED
It was reported that diplomatic steps towards achieving a ceasefire and seeking a permanent solution, particularly the Istanbul Process, will be on the agenda in the meeting.
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR DURAN ANNOUNCED
The Presidency's Communications Director Burhanettin Duran stated in a social media announcement, "The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will make a working visit to our country on April 4, 2026."
Duran added, "In the meetings to be held in Istanbul, it is anticipated that issues on our bilateral agenda with Ukraine, as well as regional developments, will be addressed, along with efforts to establish a ceasefire and seek a permanent solution, particularly the Istanbul Process."
