During breakfast in Bodrum, Dilan Çıtak, who threw a remote control at her father İbrahim Tatlıses, will be prosecuted by the public prosecutor's office on charges of "attempted injury with a weapon." The remote control was officially classified as a weapon.

The argument that took place last year in Bodrum between famous artist İbrahim Tatlıses and his daughter Dilan Çıtak has been taken to court. The tension, which began during breakfast, escalated when Çıtak threw the television remote control on the table towards her father. At that moment, the remote did not hit Tatlıses, but the incident was confirmed by the testimonies of the household staff.

According to witness statements, after the incident, Tatlıses instructed his staff to remove his daughter from the house. It was reported that the parties continued to shout at each other while Çıtak was being taken outside.

According to a report by Sabah, despite Tatlıses initially filing a complaint against his daughter and later withdrawing it, the process did not stop. The investigation, which is being conducted under the scope of a crime not dependent on complaint as per Article 73 of the Turkish Penal Code, continued. The prosecutor's office evaluated the television remote as a "weapon" and classified the act as "attempted injury with a weapon." According to the investigation file, Çıtak admitted to the accusations in her statement. The indictment prepared based on evidence and witness statements was sent to the court with a request for punishment on behalf of the public.
