The Ministry of Interior announced that a total of 41 fugitive criminals, including 23 individuals wanted with a red notice and 18 individuals wanted at the national level, have been captured abroad and returned to Turkey. Operations carried out in 10 different countries, including Georgia, Slovenia, Belgium, Iraq, and the United Kingdom, were conducted in coordination with the units of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice.

The Ministry of Interior announced that 41 wanted fugitives, sought at both international and national levels, have been captured and returned to Turkey. According to the statement, 23 individuals wanted by Interpol with a red notice and 18 individuals with a national search record were apprehended abroad and brought to Turkey. The ministry reported that these individuals were returned from countries including Georgia, Bulgaria, Germany, Albania, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Iraq, England, Montenegro, and Slovenia. The largest portion of the returns was carried out from Georgia.

Among the 23 individuals wanted internationally with a red notice were B.K., S.D., M.K., U.K., A.K.Ç., H.C., G.K.Ö.D., M.K., B.Y., R.A., D.K., T.G., H.K., R.K.S., E.O., A.G., Ü.D., T.S., B.A., S.A., R.R., S.K., and Ö.G. It was announced that the 18 individuals wanted at the national level and brought to Turkey were E.Z., Y.Ş., M.Ş.A., M.H.A., M.E.K., H.K., Y.Y., Ü.K., V.T., K.A., U.A., S.A.M., K.A., U.Ö., Ö.G., Ü.Ö., M.Z., and M.C.

Operation in 10 countries

The operations were conducted under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Interpol-Europol Department; in cooperation with officials from the Ministry of Justice and the departments of Smuggling and Organized Crime, Intelligence, Narcotics, Cyber Crime, Public Order, and Counter-Terrorism. Authorities reported that they tracked down suspects who had fled abroad and against whom arrest warrants had been issued, thanks to the joint efforts established with the security units of the relevant countries, and completed the returns.

The ministry thanked all units and security personnel involved in the operations.
