On the last day of Ramadan Feast in Fatih, two adjacent three-story buildings collapsed. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül announced that the collapse was caused by a natural gas explosion. In a statement, the Istanbul Governorship announced that a total of 11 people were rescued from the rubble, while it was reported that 1 person lost their life.
On the last day of Ramadan Bayram in the Ayvansaray neighborhood of the Fatih district of Istanbul, two buildings collapsed. Upon notification, a large number of teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams' work on the rubble is ongoing.
3 INJURED RESCUED
While the rescue operations for those trapped in the collapsed buildings continue, 3 people were rescued with injuries. The injured were taken to the hospital after the initial intervention by the medical teams.
