I gave the money, he gave me 1 gram, I had 3 grams left. He wrote on a piece of paper. He said he would come in the evening, and I could pick it up. I trusted him; he was a clean, trusted kid. I left 17,200 lira. He wrote on the paper, 'Money received, 3 grams will be given.' The paper is in the car. When I came back the next morning, the store was closed. There are many people he has victimized here," he expressed.
"A CUSTOMER LEFT 1 MILLION LIRA WORTH OF GOLD FOR HIS HOUSE DEED"

I don't know him. He opened his store after we opened ours. Then we heard that he had collected the gold and fled. They say 500 million, but I don't know. I don't know him. Sometimes customers who can't find him come to us and ask if we've seen him, but we haven't. One customer left 1 million lira worth of gold for the deed of the house he was going to buy, wanting to get cash. The jeweler told him to come in the morning to get the money. When the man came in the morning, Mr. Fatih was gone, and that was the end of it," he said.
