According to a report in the British newspaper The Sun, it is claimed that the former Queen and members of the Royal Family jointly paid the hush money to Giuffre, who was a victim of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison while being prosecuted for allegedly running a prostitution ring targeting underage girls in the U.S.
£12 MILLION SETTLEMENT
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the Queen's middle son, who is alleged to have had a relationship with Giuffre when she was underage, wanted to pay Giuffre hush money in 2022 to prevent complaints against him. Mountbatten-Windsor borrowed from members of the Royal Family for the £12 million hush money to be paid to Giuffre. Of the hush money, £7 million was borrowed from Queen Elizabeth, £3 million from the estate of the Queen's late husband Prince Philip, and £1.5 million from King Charles III, who was then the Prince of Wales.
DEBT STILL UNPAID
According to palace sources, the loan taken about 4 years ago has not yet been repaid, and it was stated that Mountbatten-Windsor wanted to sell a chalet-type mountain house he owns in Switzerland to pay off the debt, but the house did not cover the debt.
