It is noticeable that the child, wearing a red t-shirt, seemed frozen in fear despite the driver honking the horn repeatedly. As the danger increased with every passing second, the attention of police officer Pablo Luna, who was patrolling the area, prevented a potential tragedy.
Realizing the situation, Luna jumped off his motorcycle and ran towards the tracks without hesitation. The police officer reached the child just seconds before the massive locomotive would have hit him, grabbing the small child by the arm and pulling him away from the tracks.
The footage captured the moments when Luna seemed to race against the train and pulled the child to safety at the last moment, leaving everyone breathless. Those who witnessed the incident described these moments as "a miraculous rescue."
After the incident, officials praised the bravery of the police officer. Córdoba Governor Martín Llaryora stated,
"Risking one's life to save another... Our police do this every day, and today these moments were captured on camera," he said.
Llaryora also emphasized that such acts of heroism happen every day, highlighting that the police force is a great source of pride in terms of humanity and professionalism.
Following the incident, it was revealed that the child had wandered away from home unnoticed in the morning hours. The 24-year-old mother learned that her son had reached the tracks before realizing he was missing.

This incident has reignited concerns about train accidents worldwide. Recently, in a similar accident in Bangladesh, at least 12 people lost their lives when a train collided with a bus at a level crossing.
