In the Mudanya district of Bursa, a mother, who is said to have psychological issues, jumped into the sea with her 5-year-old son; the mother managed to reach the shore, but the child lost his life.
In the Mudanya district of Bursa, a woman named S.G. (30) jumped into the sea with her 5-year-old child M.B.G. whom she was holding by the hand. While the mother, who is said to have psychological issues, managed to reach the shore by her own means, her child lost his life.
WOMAN EXITED THE SEA BY HER OWN MEANS
The incident occurred around 3:30 PM at the Güzelyalı Yacht Harbor. According to allegations, S.G. jumped into the sea with her son M.B.G. After a while, S.G. managed to get out of the sea by her own means, while her son M.B.G. lost his life. Upon the notification of those nearby, sea police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE INCIDENT
As a result of the teams' efforts, the lifeless body of M.B.G. was retrieved from the sea and handed over to the medical teams. After the examination, M.B.G.'s body was taken to the morgue of Mudanya State Hospital.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
