According to a report based on Ukrainian intelligence, Russia provided Iran with a list of 55 critical targets related to Israel's energy infrastructure; it is stated that potential attacks pose a risk of collapsing the electricity system across the country.

An allegation reported in the Israeli press is likely to further escalate tensions in the region. According to a report by The Jerusalem Post, based on sources close to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has provided Iran with a detailed list of 55 targets related to Israel's vital energy infrastructure.

The list in question is said to facilitate possible missile attacks by Iran on Israel's energy network.

TARGETS DIVIDED INTO THREE CATEGORIES

The report stated that the identified targets have been divided into three separate categories based on their strategic importance. The first category includes critical production facilities that could completely disable the country's energy system. The second category consists of industrial and urban centers that meet the energy needs of major cities, while the third category lists transformer stations and local energy infrastructures.

OROT RABIN STANDS OUT

It was suggested that the Orot Rabin facility, located on the Mediterranean coast and known as Israel's largest power plant, has been identified as a primary target within the first category.

WARNING THAT "THE ENERGY SYSTEM COULD COLLAPSE"

The report also emphasized that Israel is an "energy island" that does not meet its electricity needs from neighboring countries. Therefore, it was noted that even damage to a small portion of critical facilities could lead to prolonged power outages and difficult-to-repair technical failures across the country.
